These days Naomi did not keep track of what the days were at Fandom and so she was currently unaware that it was one of those weekends again.

At that moment she was busy finishing off reports, since shore leave was coming up and she wanted to make sure that she had all her work done before then. She had already filled in her shift report from last night, now she was just finishing up a couple of science reports.

If she had known that anything unusual was happening at Fandom, she would know that she would most likely be getting a phone call any moment now.

Naomi had gotten into Fandom late last night, upon checking in to her room she had let her senior staff know that she had arrived as was the protocol when trips to Fandom were concerned. This wasn't anything new, this policy had been established back when she had been Chief Science Officer.

She didn't immediately notice that anything was wrong when she had gotten up that morning, it had only been when she went to check in with her crew that she discovered she couldn't get through to them. Attempts to reach her husband and her children also failed.

That was when she figured that something must be going on with the island, this certainly hadn't been the first time that she had been cut off and her staff knew not to be alarmed if she hadn't checked in.

Naomi was glad that she had at least brought some of her mission reports that she needed to work on, sure this reunion was meant to be a vacation but that wasn't going to stop her from doing some work while she had some free time.

Unaware of what was going on in Fandom at that precise moment, Naomi was in her quarters, working on her reports for the latest mission that they had just finished up.

The Rhode Island had finished up its most recent mission in the Gamma Quadrant and they were on their way back to Deep Space Nine to refuel and to give the crew a few days shore leave while they waited for their next assignment.

Since Naomi had the morning off, she was using this time to get some work done and had no idea that she was about to be interrupted.

After getting to spend an extended shore leave on Earth following the most recent Rhode Island mission, Naomi’s new year had been spent with Tom, B’Elanna and Miral, whom she hadn’t seen since she left on her first assignment following graduation.

The shore leave had also allowed her to spend more time with Icheb, even though they both served on the same ship and one of Harry’s only few rules regarding fraternization was that it was fine so long as both officers were off duty. Since they both didn’t want to rush into their relationship and run the risk of ruining it, they decided that on the Rhode Island they would just continue to be friends – especially since Icheb was still her superior, being First Officer and take advantage of each others company while on shore leave.

After nearly two weeks spent on Earth, they were heading back into deep space for their next mission. They had, had a mission briefing before they left Earth about their next assignment and it seemed straight forward enough, of course no mission was ever truly straight forward but their departure from Earth was at least relatively smooth.

Naomi was now back in her quarters, reading up on the relevant material that she’d need for the upcoming mission, she wasn’t needed on the bridge for another few hours so she thought she’d take the time to go over a few science reports and make note of it.

It had been roughly three months since Naomi had taken up her assignment on the USS Rhode Island and for the most part it had gone by relatively smoothly.

Their last mission had seen them in the Gamma Quadrant and once they had finished, had docked at Deep Space Nine for refuelling and had been given a couple of days shore leave. She had taken the time to visit her former Academy roommate, Chrystal, who was an Operations Officer on Deep Space Nine and who she hadn’t seen since graduation. Once they were finished at Deep Space Nine, they were ready to depart on their next mission, which was to the Beta Quadrant.

At that moment Naomi had finished the Night Watch shift that she had been assigned to cover and had headed back to her quarters, she had gotten relatively used to covering the different shifts and as the lowest ranked member of the Senior Bridge Crew, she usually got assigned to Night Watch and this shift was no exception. If Naomi was being honest, she actually didn’t mind the Night Watch shifts, as she knew a lot of crewmembers hated being assigned them.

Rather than go straight to bed, Naomi started working on her report for the shift that she had just done, which like most Night Watch’s didn’t have anything out of the ordinary happen and so that report wouldn’t take too long to write, and then she still had some science reports to read over from their latest mission, so she was planning on staying up for a couple of hours before finally going to bed.

Naomi was going over her Salutatorian speech for graduation, which was going to be tomorrow. She still couldn’t believe she was about to graduate from Starfleet Academy and she couldn’t believe that it had been four years since she graduated Fandom. At least this time round she could expect her graduation to go relatively smoothly and then after that she would be on her first assignment, where she was going to be Chief Science Officer on the USS Rhode Island.
That was actually the part that she was really having trouble believing, she had still been weeks shy of graduating when Captain Harry Kim had asked her to meet him in his office.

she hadn't been entirely sure what to expect )

As she finished reading over her speech, she glanced around her dorm room, which was pretty empty. Most of her items had already been shipped off, she wasn’t expected to check in to the Rhode Island until the day after graduation. Her roommate’s side was also fairly empty, Chrystal was going to be heading off on her first assignment to Deep Space Nine, where she would be working in Operations.
Still, after four years of sharing the room, it was still feeling strange seeing it so empty.

Naomi had no idea what was happening in Fandom at that precise moment, she was spending her Saturday doing the last of her assignments that would allow her to graduate in May. Her roommate was also doing assignments, so the room was quiet at the moment.

She had no idea that that quiet was about to interrupted.

Naomi's winter break was coming to an end as she would be heading back to Starfleet Academy tomorrow for what would be her final semester as a cadet, which was something she still couldn’t quite believe was happening. She had aspired for a career in Starfleet since she was a child on Voyager and now she was only months away from graduation.

For the most part her break had been quite uneventful, with the exception of New Years when Tom and B’Elanna had hosted a party but most of her time had been spent either with Icheb, who had finished up his current tour and would be based in San Francisco for a few months or babysitting Miral when her parents were busy.

She was actually home alone for a few hours, as both Tom and B’Elanna had work commitments and Miral was at a friend’s house for the afternoon so Naomi had spent the time making sure everything was organized and that she was set for the move back to the Academy tomorrow.

Naomi had woken up as a six year old that Saturday morning.

After being Naomi’s roommate for the past four years and the fact that this had happened once before, Chrystal at least was prepared this time round and so she was currently keeping Naomi entertained by playing several rounds of Katis-Kot with her.

It also helped, after going through enough of these events, that at least this one she knew for sure would only last for the weekend.

It had been a few months since Naomi had last visited Fandom but that hadn't stopped her handwavily waking up yesterday morning to discover that Fandom's latest bout of weirdness had followed her and that she was now curently the wrong gender.

Her roommate barely raised an eyebrow when she saw what had happened, even though Chrystal had never visited Fandom - she had certainly gotten a crash course in what it was like over the years that she and Naomi had been roommates.

At least these types of situations had only been confinded to the weekend so she didn't have to worry about trying to explain what was going on to any one else. Naomi didn't have any plans for that weekend so she decided to spend it in her room reviewing her notes from her first few weeks of classes for the semester.

Even though she was supposed to have a few days off while she was at her reunion, Naomi had still gotten up early to finish off some last minute mission reports that she needed to read over and send back to the Rhode Island.

She had also touched base with her Senior Staff as what she was required to do every few hours or so when she came to visit Fandom. This protocal wasn't just because she was the Captain of a Starship but rather because this protocal had been established back when she was an Ensign, serving as the Chief Science Officer. This was because of instances when she had visited Fandom in the past and had found out that she had lost a week while she was just supposed to stay for a weekend. It had been a while since something like that had happened but she wasn't going to take any chances. At least if she lost contact with her crew they would know it was likely because of something had happened in Fandom.

Now that she had done that and she had been assured that everything was going smoothly on the Rhode Island, Naomi could focus on enjoying the rest of the weekend.

Naomi had managed to get back to Starfleet Academy late Monday afternoon. She had showered as soon as she got to her hotel room yesterday evening but it was going to take quite a few more showers before she actually felt clean again. When she finally got to her dorm room she had been tackle-hugged by her roommate, who had actually been quite worried about her when she hadn’t returned after the couple of days she said she would be in Fandom for. It was times like these that Naomi was actually glad she had told Chrystal what her former school had been like.

The next thing after she had assured Chrystal that she was ok and that it wasn’t necessary for her to come to Fandom the next time she went, which she had a feeling would probably not be for a while, had been to make contact with her parents, Icheb and Tom and B’Elanna who had left messages throughout the past week that she had been gone. The next couple of hours were going to be spent letting them know that she was back at Starfleet without going into a lot of detail about what had happened.

Naomi had handwavily gotten into Fandom late Saturday evening, before meeting up with her daughter as they had arranged on the phone. It was a little unnerving seeing a teenage version of the girl who had shown up a few years ago but she got over that shock pretty quickly.

Neither of them had gotten much sleep that night but that still didn't stop them from placing a call to the Icheb from Naomi's world, as had been somewhat of a tradition when Naomi was a student at Fandom.

Finals were coming up in a few weeks and Naomi had spent most of her time when she was not in class studying for her exams, that day was no exception. Her roommate was for the afternoon so Naomi had her data padds and various papers filled with scribbled notes scattered on the floor. She planned to spend the afternoon studying as she had plans later that evening.

She had absolutely no idea what was happening in Fandom at that moment and that her afternoon was going to be interuppted.

Naomi had spent her New Years at a party that Admiral Janeway had thrown at her apartment. Since most of the guests had been former Voyager crew it had also become a small reunion and she had enjoyed catching up with everyone, some of whom she hadn't seen in a few years.

Now that she was due back at the Academy for her second semester of junior year, Naomi was spending the afternoon packing as she would be returning in the next couple of days. She couldn't believe that later this year she would be starting her final year. It felt like it hadn't been that long ago since she had graduated Fandom.

Naomi had finished her second year at Starfleet Academy last week and would be starting her Starfleet placement onboard the K-7 Space Station later next month, which she was looking forward to completing.

Currently she was staying with Tom and B’Elanna and at the moment she had the house to herself since they were busy with various work schedules.

She had been looking over the information that she had received in her Starfleet placement package, even though she had already gone over it more than once, she still wanted to be as prepared as she could be.

Even though she had been meaning to get to Fandom sooner, Naomi had gotten caught out a few days through Portalocity problems so when she had eventually been able to get through to Fandom it was late last night.

The disappearances in her world had gotten worse since her initial contact with Seven of Nine to find out what happened to Icheb, even though she was the only one noticing it. First it had been Icheb and a few other names missing from the Voyager's manifesto but then B'Elanna and Tom had disappeared and then a few days after that she couldn't get through to her parents or Seven of Nine.

Since she had made it to Fandom though she hadn't been able to reach anyone and so she was now sitting in her hotel room and was going through various searches and trying to video link with people she knew back home and so far she had been unsuccessful.

[establishy, post can be open though]

Naomi stared at her computer screen after her call with Seven of Nine had ended.

There was nothing unusual about her call, over recent months they had made it a habit of catching up via video link, even if just for a short time. Only this time she had asked Seven if she'd happened to hear from Icheb, since she hadn't been having much luck in being able to find him and she knew that Icheb and Seven kept in regular contact.

Seven had replied that she didn't know who Icheb was and hadn't even recognized the names of the other Borg children - Mezoti, Azan and Rebi when Naomi prompted her on their part in Voyager's history.

Once the call ended Naomi brought up the information about the Voyager mission, scanning through the names to see if there were any changes to the crew manifesto. Sure enough there were several names missing, including Icheb.

Naomi didn't have any classes on the weekend, which was quite possibly a good thing as Fandom weirdness had finally reached her at Starfleet.

Her roommate had at least been previously warned about Fandom's oddities and so she wasn't that alarmed when she woke up and found Naomi had turned into a young child.

Now she was keeping her occupied by playing Katis-Kot and trying to figure out how she was going to explain this to her professors if Naomi didn't turn back by Monday.

Naomi's first thoughts when she woke up that morning was that she was late for the Alpha Shift that she normally would have been doing but it took her a moment to realize that she was in a room at the Arms Hotel and not in the quarters she shared with Icheb and their children on the Rhode Island.

Then she remembered that she was at her school's 20 year reunion.

She had been a bit worried about taking the weekend off to go to the reunion but Icheb had assured her that he could manage while she was gone.
