Naomi managed to make it back to her room after her class. She managed to pick up her quilt, wrap it around her and sit down at her computer even though she knew that she probably wouldn't be able to actually do any work on it.
The computer suddenly beeped indicating that someone was calling through and instantly she started flailing.
not now! she thought as she hastily moved to allow the caller to come through, considering her ghost like state right at the minute it took longer than usual.

Once the transmission ended Naomi sighed and shut off the computer, realising that it would be useless to try working on it, she got up and moved back to her bed where she sat down on it and tried desperately to keep warm.
