Naomi's Room at the Arms Hotel - Saturday Morning

Even though she was supposed to have a few days off while she was at her reunion, Naomi had still gotten up early to finish off some last minute mission reports that she needed to read over and send back to the Rhode Island.

She had also touched base with her Senior Staff as what she was required to do every few hours or so when she came to visit Fandom. This protocal wasn't just because she was the Captain of a Starship but rather because this protocal had been established back when she was an Ensign, serving as the Chief Science Officer. This was because of instances when she had visited Fandom in the past and had found out that she had lost a week while she was just supposed to stay for a weekend. It had been a while since something like that had happened but she wasn't going to take any chances. At least if she lost contact with her crew they would know it was likely because of something had happened in Fandom.

Now that she had done that and she had been assured that everything was going smoothly on the Rhode Island, Naomi could focus on enjoying the rest of the weekend.

Just warned Tommy that his old man was on the island. I'm pretty sure he's made himself scarce by now.

Pretty good. Still holding itself together, which is always a good thing.

Pretty good! Youngest just got back from visiting me when I was still a student. Wasn't sure that would actually happen.
